He has met with great success in dressage under Marlies van Baalen (age 17). In 1997 he won 3 championships:
- Gelders champion
- Champion of Ermelo
- N.D.V.R. champion class 22 in the light tour and 2nd place in Amsterdam
- At the Zwolles horse days he was 1st place with scores of 70 and 75%.
- In 1998 at NK Nijmegen, Inspekteur was the champion of the Netherlands with Marlies (age 18) for junior riders and at Zwolle he was third place in the Light Tour International (open division)
- 1999 He won the European championship for Young Riders - individual bronze and team Gold.
- Continues to compete and win on the international circuit with a 14 year old rider and has won many championships.
