Sire Ulft is an unusually versatile stallion that has not only displayed enormous jumping ability but has also given impressive dressage performances. He was the first stallion since the introduction of the performance test to be given a 9 for dressage. Sire of Ulft, "keur" Le Mexico, is a typical jumper progenitor, with a high jumping index. His sire Mexico is a full brother to the famous Furioso II, a much celebrated progenitor in France. Their sire is Furioso xx, who was approved in various other studbooks. Ferro's dam is mainly of German discent, Brenda (ster pref prest) is by the Holsteiner "keur" Farn, who also has ranked highly in the jumping index. Farn has become best known through his son Nimmerdor, who claims a very high index in jumping and has also produced many stallions.
